Finding a parking spot in large cities takes often a lot of time and energy. New sensor technology and automated traffic will simplify that in near future. But sensors alone give no guarantee for the success of a service, also human factors play an important role.
As part of the project “Gamified Parking Assistance System” we want to analyze, how gamification motivation techniques could be used in context of connected services and which effects we could archive? Therefore we will identify gamification patterns and evaluate them with prototypes. The project is performed in cooperation with the Corporate Research of the Robert Bosch GmbH in Renningen.
