  • Are you a student who wants to get into flow more often and self-improve your own work life? If yes, we would like to invite you to our research study "Flow Up Yourself"! We are investigating how students can improve their own well-being and productivity by getting deeper insights into their flow state. The study will take place from 29th November until 5th December 2021.

You may know the state of flow from sports. It occurs, among other things, when you have the right fit of challenge and skill and are therefore completely immersed in an activity. However, flow is even more relevant for work, as it positively influencing productivity and well-being, which is why we want to offer you a possibility to optimize yourself with our FlowApp. Just watch our explanatory video from this post

Your benefits: You will get insights into your flow state and the opportunity to improve yourself using ab ECG wearable and the FlowApp during the study. You can earn up to 105€ (50 for the first 5 days, 5 for each extra day and 10 for possible interviews).

Summary and tasks: The study lasts at least one week but is expandable to two weeks. It is required, that the participants do at least 4 hours of "knowledge work" per day, while wearing the chest-belt wearable. They only need to watch a 5-minute-long relaxation video every morning and attend to a few minutes lasting daily meeting at 8 or 10 a.m. to ensure the technology is working fine. After work, the participants confirm the times when knowledge work was done and can analyze their flow state. Additionally, at the beginning and end of each week we ask the participants to fill out a short questionnaire to further improve the FlowApp.

In summary, this is less than 15 minutes of work per day!
