New Publication in BISE: Hybrid Adaptive Systems

New Publication in BISE: Hybrid Adaptive Systems

  • Date: 17.04.2024
  • The Business & Information Systems Engineering (BISE) journal has published a new discussion article titled “Hybrid Adaptive Systems”. Adaptive systems have become ubiquitous in almost all areas of our private and business lives. The goal of this discussion article is to highlight the different perspectives of different disciplines when investigating adaptive systems from a social and technological point of view.  The article is a joint publication project carried out by the principal investigators of the interdisciplinary DFG-funded graduate school KD2School.

We propose a first step towards a shared understanding of hybrid adaptive systems that equally balances the social and the technological dimension and argue that interdisciplinary research on hybrid adaptive systems will ultimately contribute to the greater benefit of individuals, groups, organizations, and society.
