Research Interests

Thank you for your interest in my work. In general, my research revolves around designing Artificial Intelligence systems that can interact with end-users to keep learning and improve their performance.

Specifically, I am researching how to design machine learning systems that allow end-users to interact with the system and provide feedback or change model parameters in order to iteratively refine the model. I am focused on finding out how to allow the system to be transparent in order to increase the end-users understanding of how the system makes decisions and increase end-users’ trust.

If you find my research interesting and are looking for a thesis supervisor, feel free to contact me at any time.

My research interests include:

  • Machine Learning (ML)
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Human-Computer Interaction (HCI)
  • Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI)
  • Interactive Machine Learning (IML)
