Designing interactive transparent job descriptions

Topic Description

In today's digital age, it is crucial for companies to present their job offers in innovative and engaging ways. Traditional static job descriptions often lack sufficient information about the application process, company culture and values, as well as specific work scenarios. To enhance the attractiveness of job offers and make the application process more transparent, it is necessary to design interactive job descriptions, which include these aspects.

Problem

Current job descriptions often fail to provide sufficient insights into the application process, leaving potential applicants in the dark about what to expect during the selection procedure. Furthermore, relevant information about company culture and values, as well as precise work tasks, is often missing. This results in decreased appeal of job offers and complicates the application process for both companies and job seekers.

Goal

The main goal of this thesis/seminar is to develop an interactive system that offers innovative ways to make job descriptions more engaging and transparent. The prototype should also be evaluated empirically (qualitatively and/or quantitatively) with students.
